Growing up coach Alessandro started his career with local teams from the Westchester area. At the age of 16 Alessandro went abroad for his first professional trials with Italian Serie A club S.S.C. Napoli and Serie B side Frosinone Calcio. After a two-week trial with both clubs, he decided it was best to return and attend university. During his collegiate career he was chosen to attend the Viareggio tournament in Italy with a team from the United States. After finishing out his college career he went to Italy for more trials with A.C. Perugia Calcio, San Marino Calcio, and S.C. Vallee d'Aoste. When arriving back in the United States he was picked up by futsal team N.Y. Ecuador FC and still plays for N.Y. Ecuador FC. While training with his futsal team he received calls from Cosmos A team for trainings and inter-squad scrimmages. Playing with the New York Ecuadorians he received the nod from the US Arena coach and was capped for his first time. The following year Alessandro was called for a trial in Sweden where he stayed only a month before returning to pursue a career in coaching and giving back to the kids in his community. He played multiple years in the NPSL with the Brooklyn Italians and the Kingston Stockade. He now focuses on coaching and has been the head JV boys coach of Bronxville Soccer for 4 years. Alessandro also coaches several teams in the Eastchester Youth Soccer Association. He is currently in the process of getting his USSF A coaching license.
Coach Alessandro tries to make the perfect player in all sense of the phrase. A great soccer player can have great capabilities, but if their mind is not in the right place they will not go far. He works on soccer-tough psychological techniques that help to build and sustain the player's confidence.
- "One of the first things I was asked when I arrived to S.S.C. Napoli was how are your nerves. The coach wanted to make sure I would not be scared in front of thousands of fans, scouts, and several other judging eyes."
- Coach Alessandro Persampieri
Coach Alessandro's sessions are vigorous and tailor-made to fit the players needs. With strong focus on technique and form, Alessandro develops the players playing style and overall performance. In today's game, coaches are looking for all-around players. The high intensity of his trainings and focus make for a real professional environment and player.
